Job Title: Asset Management Audit Consultant Prime Funds

Location: New York, NY (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months

Role Summary

TCS is seeking an experienced Asset Management Audit Consultant to support a leading global banking client in New York City. This role will lead complex audit engagements, provide advisory support, and ensure regulatory compliance across Global Prime Funds operations. The ideal candidate brings deep asset management and money market fund expertise, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven experience engaging senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1) Audit Execution ( 40%)

• Lead comprehensive audits of Global Prime Funds operations, including:

  • Fund administration

  • Portfolio management

  • Trading

  • Operations

  • Compliance

• Plan and execute audits across multiple jurisdictions (US, EMEA, APAC).

• Assess key risks:

  • Liquidity

  • Credit

  • Operational risk

  • Regulatory compliance

• Execute testing aligned to:

  • SOC 1 / SOC 2

  • ISAE 3402

  • SEC Rule 2a-7

  • MMFR standards

• Document findings, prepare audit reports, and present results to senior management.

• Manage 4 6 major audits annually.

2) Regulatory & Compliance Oversight ( 30%)

• Ensure Prime Funds compliance with:

  • SEC Investment Company Act

  • SEC Rule 2a-7

  • FINRA rules

• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on audit scope and approach.

• Evaluate compliance processes including:

  • NAV calculations

  • Shadow pricing

  • Liquidity assessments

• Support regulatory examinations (SEC, FINRA, FCA, MAS).

• Review regulatory filings including:

  • Form N-MFP

  • Form PF

3) Consulting & Advisory Services ( 20%)

• Provide advisory support on:

  • Control design

  • Process improvements

  • Risk mitigation strategies

• Advise on new products, technologies, and operational changes.

• Conduct pre-implementation reviews and targeted risk assessments.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Prime Funds operations.

4) Stakeholder Management ( 10%)

• Partner with:

  • Portfolio Management

  • Operations

  • Compliance

  • Risk

  • Technology teams

• Present audit findings to C-suite executives and Board committees.

• Coordinate with external auditors and Fund Boards.

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• One or more required certifications:

  • CPA

  • CIA

  • CISA

  • CFA

Experience

• 8+ years of audit experience in asset management.

• 3+ years focused on money market / prime funds.

• 3+ years at a senior/manager level in:

  • Big 4

  • Internal Audit

  • Consulting environments

• Proven experience leading complex global audits.

• Strong track record of C-suite and senior stakeholder engagement.

• Asset management operations:

  • Front office

  • Middle office

  • Back office

• Money market fund regulations:

  • SEC Rule 2a-7

  • Money Market Fund Reform

• Fund accounting:

  • NAV calculations

  • Pricing methodologies

• Risk & control frameworks:

• Financial instruments:

  • Treasuries

• Audit & analytics tools:

  • ACL

• Big 4 Asset Management practice background

• Knowledge of:

• Experience with:
