Position SummaryThe Test Engineering Intern will work within a multidisciplinary team to help maintain, improve, and design test solutions under the direction of more senior engineers. This summer position will take place onsite at our corporate headquarters in Plymouth, MN and may involve travel to our Brooklyn Park location as needed. Relocation assistance is not provided.
This position reports to the Engineering Manager I.
What You'll Be Doing - Supporting production test stations to ensure proper operation and to implement efficiency improvements
- Working on tests for new product designs under the direction of senior engineers
- Analyzing data from test systems, performing measurement system analysis, and carefully documenting results to explain trends and inform impactful test yield improvements
- Performing failure analysis to identify root causes and help develop mitigations to resolve system issues
- Collaborating with mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality engineering
- Planning daily tasks
- Other duties as assigned

Required- Enrollment in accredited Electrical Engineering program, Computer Engineering program, Mechanical Engineering program, Manufacturing Engineering program or related field
Preferred- Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate level engineering student
- General knowledge working with lab equipment for hands-on prototyping and hardware functional test analysis
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast paced, changing environment
- Strong organizational skills as well as attention to detail
- Experience using National Instruments software (LabView, TestStand), or other programming languages for automation, measurement, and/or Automation Test Equipment
- Familiarity with Microsoft standard apps (i.e., Excel)
