Job Overview

Job Title: Technical Project Manager (Offshore) - Analytics Background

Location:

Offshore (Bangalore / Kochi) - Managing teams working with US Clients

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong background in analytics to lead and drive technology projects from inception through completion. This role requires a mix of solid project management expertise and the ability to understand and leverage data analytics to guide project decisions, optimize workflows, and deliver measurable business outcomes with experience managing offshore teams to deliver high-quality solutions for US-based customers. This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate across distributed teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple end-to-end project management for complex technical initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables
• Manage both Development and Maintenance cum Support Projects
• Utilize advanced analytics and data interpretation skills to inform project planning, risk management, and issue resolution
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and milestone tracking using project management tools
• Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project momentum and quality
• Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders and leadership through regular reports and presentations
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
• Manage vendor and third-party relationships as applicable
• Promote best practices in project management and analytics-driven decision-making across the team
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes through data insights and retrospectives
• Work with the Sales and Delivery Leadership in scoping and build strong solutions for the customers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Proven experience (3+ years) in technical project management, preferably in IT, software development or data analytics projects
• Strong foundation in analytics, including experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), statistical analysis, or business intelligence platforms would be an added advantage
• Expertise in project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project)
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making mindset
• Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into actionable project plans
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other analytical programming languages
• Background in data engineering or data science projects
• Experience managing cloud-based analytics platforms or big data technologies
• Knowledge of business process improvement and change management frameworks
