Job DescriptionRequired Technical Skills- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on backend development experience using Java
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture
- Experience working with Apache Kafka in event-driven environments
- Proficiency with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, and RDS/DynamoDB
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployments
- Familiarity with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
- Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or comparable tools
- Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Dynatrace and Splunk
- Understanding of backend systems that support mobile applications, including authentication, performance, and scalability considerations
Core Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable, secure RESTful APIs for iOS and Android mobile applications
- Build, deploy, and maintain microservices in a cloud-native environment
- Integrate backend services with mobile-focused capabilities such as authentication, push notifications, and analytics pipelines
- Conduct code reviews and perform debugging, monitoring, and performance optimization
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and observability across backend services
- Collaborate closely with mobile, web, DevOps, and product teams
- Maintain technical documentation and support adherence to engineering best practices
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and production support
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated experience designing backend systems that support mobile applications
- Strong knowledge of Java, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, message queues, and API security
