Role Summary:

Seeking a Senior Solution Architect / Tech Lead with strong utility domain and SAP EAM/WM experience to lead architecture and technical design for complex IT projects supporting electric operations.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 10+ years IT experience; 7+ years Solution Architecture
• Utility Electric Operations (Distribution, Transmission, Substation)
• Asset & Work Management
• SAP EAM, SAP PM, SAP WM
• GIS experience (ESRI preferred)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Electric engineering tools (CAD, design tools)
• Architecture & design tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
• Estimating knowledge & tools (EES)
• Joint pole assets & technologies
• Ability to work with cybersecurity, middleware, DBA teams

Nice to Have:

• PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, AUD
• Substation Design Suite
• SAP SaaS (Ariba, S/4 HANA, SuccessFactors)

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for IT projects
• Design scalable, secure SAP and utility solutions
• Develop solution blueprints (application, data, integration, infrastructure)
• Partner with PMs, business, and technical teams
• Drive standards, governance, and technical decision-making
• Mentor architects and technical teams

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor s degree required
• Architecture certs (TOGAF, Zachman) preferred
• ITIL / Security certs a plus

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $85.00-$95.00 per hour.
