Capgemini is seeking an experienced and visionary Global Head of AWS Business within Financial Services to lead strategic initiatives and drive growth in this vital sector. In this influential role, you will be responsible for establishing and expanding the AWS business within the financial services vertical with an AI first mindset, harnessing the power of cloud technology to help clients navigate their digital transformation journeys. You will leverage your industry expertise and technical knowledge to create AI infused tailored solutions that address complex challenges faced by financial institutions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to grow the AWS business within the financial services sector, identifying opportunities for expansion and innovation.
- Engage with C-level executives at key client organizations to understand their business objectives and propose effective cloud solutions using AWS services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and delivery, to ensure alignment and successful execution of the AWS business strategy.
- Lead a high-performing team of cloud specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve goals and maximize client satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to ensure Capgemini remains at the forefront of financial services transformation initiatives through AWS.
- Establish strong relationships with AWS leadership and leverage AWS resources to enhance service delivery and client engagement.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives, represent Capgemini at industry events, and contribute to the development of white papers, case studies, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, best practices, and industry standards related to cloud adoption in financial services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the financial services industry, preferably in a cloud technology environment and GenAI/AI.
- Demonstrated success in anchoring and closing large, complex deals within financial services
- Deep understanding of AWS offerings (specifically AI and Data) and their application within financial services, including regulatory compliance and security considerations.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with experience delivering insights and proposals to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Strategic mindset with a track record of driving growth and achieving business objectives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Senior Executive connections with various CXO s in Financial Services for Banking, Insurance and Capital Market segments.
