Job Title: Palantir Foundry Architect

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Palantir Foundry Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale data solutions on the Palantir Foundry platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data architecture, integration, and governance, along with advanced technical and communication skills to enable secure, scalable, and high-performance data ecosystems.
Technical Expertise
- Proven hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry architecture and development.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Foundry-specific frameworks.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on knowledge of containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience
- 15+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields.
- Extensive background in designing and delivering large-scale data platforms.
- Experience working with real-time, streaming, and batch data processing.
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data governance frameworks and data security best practices.
- Familiarity with machine learning workflows and integrating data science pipelines in Foundry.
- Certifications in Palantir Foundry, cloud technologies, or data architecture.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Data Architecture & Solution Design
Architect scalable data platforms in Palantir Foundry to support:
Grid operations
Outage management
Asset health monitoring
Energy forecasting
Design real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines for sources like SCADA, AMI, GIS, and ERP.
Ensure compliance with NERC, FERC, and relevant state regulatory standards.
- Integration & Development
Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into the Foundry platform.
Develop custom applications and workflows using Foundry APIs and internal frameworks.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement best practices for data transformation, ingestion, and orchestration.
- Governance & Compliance
Define and enforce data governance standards, access controls, and compliance frameworks.
Ensure adherence to GDPR, CCPA, NERC, FERC, and other regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and operational teams to convert requirements into Foundry-based solutions.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior data engineers and team members.
- Performance Optimization
Design and optimize data pipelines for high efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Identify bottlenecks and implement enhancements for performance improvement.
