Summary

Job Title: Infrastructure Security & Risk Management Lead

Location: Hybrid (Chicago Area Preferred)

Overview: Support the development, evaluation, and operationalization of management, governance, and risk activities for the information security portfolio, focusing on general infrastructure security, security operations, and network security in a cloud-heavy environment (80% Azure, 20% on-prem).

Key Responsibilities

Support development of target state metrics; inventory/assess application, patch, and VM program assets (including Container Security, WAF).
Develop list of target state KRI/KPI metrics with rationale; refresh annually.
Enhance governance structures and reporting; evaluate current US VPM structures, risk committees, and escalation processes.
Assist with metric reports as inputs to governance; establish regular templates for reporting.
Assess data availability; develop plans for missing data; update proposals.
Draft metric proposals, including thresholds; obtain 2LOD review and updates.
Conduct annual reviews of policies, standards, and controls.
Evaluate/enhance controls for metric reporting; propose/document updates; obtain 2LOD sign-off.
Prepare/maintain documentation; provide evidence of reviews and support.
Align with cloud infrastructure (Azure) and on-prem; integrate tools like Defender for Cloud and Azure Security Center.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
7+ years in infrastructure security, risk management, or governance.
Experience with cloud (Azure) and on-prem environments, security operations, and network security.
Strong analytical skills for metrics and reporting.

Preferred

Certifications: CRISC, CISA, or Azure-related.
Knowledge of vulnerability management in hybrid setups.
