Information Security Manager

Introduction:

An Information Security Manager will be assigned to a critical state Health and Human Services transformation project, providing project, technical, and managerial oversight to ensure all security needs are met. This hands-on role involves managing teams, coordinating processes, and ensuring compliance with State and Federal guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage information security and compliance standards
• Identify and assess cybersecurity risks
• Develop, implement, and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRI)
• Manage and resolve security incidents
• Provide hands-on technical support for cybersecurity activities
• Manage staff and resources dedicated to Security Services Teams
• Monitor information security trends, tools, and techniques
• Act as the primary security point of contact for internal and external audits
• Lead the review of audit findings and remediation activities
• Maintain working relationships with the Chief Information Security Office (CISO)
• Collaborate with CISO to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with security policies

Requirements:

Required Skills: Information Security, Cyber Security, Management, Leadership, Key Risk Indicators

Preferred Skills: Security certification (CRISC, CISSM), Technical background
