Description: CMM Programmer Essential Duties / Responsibilities The CMM Programmer is responsible for creating, editing, and running coordinate measurement machine (CMM) programs to facilitate the parts inspection process for our internal customers
. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Create intermediate / advanced CMM Programs using Zeiss Calypso
Layout / dimensional CMM reports
Determine conformance of products based on data received from CMM
Use Micrometer, caliper, depth micrometers, and various other hand tools.
Perform ballooning of customer prints/drawings
Create and document a detailed inspection plan
Ability to develop work instructions for CMM set-up and operation for various programs.
Participate in the company culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications: Experience with quality control technologies including coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and acceptance test procedures, including full knowledge of reading geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Work Environment: Standing for 10-hour shifts
Moderate physical activity such as walking, and lifting is required on a daily basis
Safety gear, such as approved safety glasses, are always required

Fridays are reserved for OT when necessary
