Sr. Outsystems Developer/Tech Lead - Remote

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior OutSystems Developer / Tech Lead to design, develop, and lead enterprise-grade low-code applications using the OutSystems platform. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, ensure best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of applications using OutSystems (Reactive & Traditional Web)

• Architect scalable, high-performance, and secure solutions

• Mentor and guide junior developers; conduct code reviews

• Integrate OutSystems apps with REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and third-party systems

• Ensure best practices for architecture, performance, security, and reusability

• Work closely with business stakeholders, QA, and DevOps teams

• Handle deployments, environment management, and troubleshooting

• Participate in design discussions and technical decision-making

Required Skills

• Strong experience with OutSystems Platform

• Expertise in Reactive Web Apps, integrations, and custom extensions

• Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and database design

• Experience with REST APIs, authentication, and security concepts

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices

• Leadership and excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

• OutSystems Certification (Associate / Professional / Expert)

• Experience with Azure / AWS

• Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML

• Prior experience in Tech Lead or Architect role
