Title: Sr. Fullstack Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead by example-writing high-quality code, solving complex technical problems, and setting a high engineering bar for the team. You will take ownership of solutions from concept through delivery, challenge the status quo, and continuously improve systems, processes, and practices.
Success in this role requires strong technical expertise paired with excellent communication, collaboration, and influence. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to design scalable, reliable, and innovative software solutions.
Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack solutions using modern technologies
- Contribute as a key member of an Agile development team, participating in sprint planning, design reviews, and retrospectives
- Partner with product owners, architects, and leadership to translate business requirements into well-designed technical solutions
- Build and maintain distributed systems leveraging microservices and big data technologies
- Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS services to deliver highly available, scalable, and cost-efficient applications
- Apply serverless and managed cloud services where appropriate to optimize performance and reliability
- Demonstrate ownership, innovation, and a self-starter mindset across projects
- Stay current with emerging technologies, experiment with new tools, and apply relevant advancements to improve solutions
- Share knowledge and mentor other engineers to promote engineering excellence
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on full-stack development
- Strong experience building applications using JavaScript, Java, RESTful APIs, Angular, and Spring Boot
- 5+ years of experience designing and building solutions on AWS (e.g., ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, EMR)
- 4+ years of experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Presto, or similar platforms
- 3+ years of experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
- 2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python, Unix shell, Groovy, or similar
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI or automation technologies to improve developer productivity or enhance software solutions
Preferred Qualifications - Experience designing and architecting systems to meet complex business requirements
- Experience delivering large-scale, business-critical systems with high technical complexity
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture best practices and AWS Well-Architected principles
