role: Histotechnologist
Location: 895 SW 30th Ave, Pompano Beach, FL 33069, USA
Payrate: $42/hr. - $54/hr. on W2
Shift time: 10:00 PM 8:30 AM

Job Description:
Performs routine and specialized histology tasks preparing tissue slides for microscopic evaluation by pathologists, ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance. Includes microtomy, staining (H&E and special stains), coverslipping, and equipment maintenance.

Additional things required:
Must have previous histotechnician experience.
BS and ASCP HT certification required; Florida state license required.
Ability to train and guide junior staff, students, and aides.
Adherence to lab quality control, safety, and regulatory compliance (CLIA/CAP).
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and document actions.
