Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with a strong background in the utilities sector to join our team in Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and cloud-based analytics solutions, with a particular focus on Azure Synapse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level data architecture and data models.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.
• Lead data warehousing initiatives, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security of data platforms.
• Implement and manage data modeling tools to support complex data structures.
• Provide guidance and best practices for data management, integration, and governance.
• Support analytics and reporting teams with optimized data pipelines and structures.

Required Qualifications:

• 13+ years of experience in data architecture and related fields.
• Strong experience in data modeling and familiarity with leading data modeling tools.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse and other cloud-based data solutions.
• Extensive experience in data warehousing concepts, design, and implementation.
• Previous experience in the utilities industry is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of data governance, master data management (MDM), and ETL processes.
• Experience with big data platforms and advanced analytics solutions.
