Role OverviewWe are seeking a
Technical Program/Project Manager to lead enterprise-level initiatives tied to a major integration effort. This individual will work across Infrastructure & Operations, partnering with technical leads and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of complex technical projects that include system migrations, environment integration, tool consolidation, infrastructure uplift, and operational transition planning.
This role requires a PM who is comfortable diving into the technical details, mapping processes, gathering requirements, coordinating across multiple dependent teams, and driving delivery with urgency and clarity. The ideal candidate is structured, assertive, detail-oriented, and capable of operating within high-visibility environments.
Top Skills - Required- 7+ years of hands-on technical project or program management experience, successfully leading large-scale, complex initiatives across multiple infrastructure and engineering teams.
- Proven ability to work horizontally across Infrastructure & Operations, partnering with teams such as DevOps, Middleware, Cloud, Database, Security, End User Support, and Asset Management.
- Deep Jira expertise with a demonstrated history of driving delivery, managing backlogs, building workflows, and ensuring execution across dependent groups.
- Strong technical and business acumen, with the ability to understand sophisticated infrastructure components, system integrations, and business impacts.
- Highly proactive, assertive delivery approach - someone who drives action, removes roadblocks, enforces accountability, and does not accept delays from dependent teams.
- Experience leading integration-heavy initiatives, especially system, vendor, or platform migrations.
Nice-to-Have Skills- experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions (systems integration, cross-functional alignment, migration planning, or vendor transition).
- Experience working in scaled Agile environments.
- Strong presentation presence and comfort interfacing with technology leaders, business executives, and advisor-facing groups
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate large-scale technical programs across infrastructure, operations, and engineering teams.
- Drive execution of platform integrations, system migrations, vendor transitions, and environment consolidation efforts.
- Work closely with technical SMEs to gather requirements, interpret technical scope, create user stories, and translate work into clear Jira items.
- Build and maintain project plans, RAID logs, dependencies, and communication frameworks.
- Coordinate efforts across cross-functional teams, escalating blockers quickly and ensuring rapid resolution.
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to align priorities, define timelines, build migration paths, and communicate progress.
- Ensure operational readiness by coordinating testing, documentation, support transitions, and cutover planning.
- Present updates to leadership and maintain high-quality documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work Environment- Hybrid: 3-4 days onsite per week in Fort Mill, SC.
- Occasional travel to Massachusetts may be needed for stakeholder or advisor-facing meetings.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Fort Mill, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $83.00/hr.
