Senior Administrative Assistant

job summary:

We are looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant to work out of our Clients Chicago office.

location: Chicago, Illinois

job type: Contract

salary: $25 - 28 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

education: No Degree Required



responsibilities:

Front Desk & Security: Serve as the sole individual at the front desk, welcoming guests, securing entry doors, and managing visitor passes/i-visitor systems.

Facilities Support: Act as a backup to the Facilities Manager; duties include submitting work orders, interacting with building management, and performing monthly security checks of access points and panic devices.

Office Operations: Handle inbound/outbound mail (UPS/USPS), manage office and kitchen supply inventory, and replenish copier paper.

Events & Catering: Assist with onsite event setup/breakdown, attend weekly event planning calls, and coordinate catering or shopping for office supplies when necessary.

qualifications:

Experience: 3+ years of prior office receptionist experience.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft tools, specifically Outlook and Calendar.

Key Soft Skills: Reliable with a history of excellent attendance, personable, and forward-thinking regarding facility management.
