Prioritized must haves for the Senior Credit Analyst - Aviation Finance:
#1. Prior aviation credit experience, ideally analyzing airlines or lessors and underwriting new investments.
#2. Strong financial analysis abilities, including cash-flow reviews, market/industry assessment, and credit risk evaluation.
#3. Demonstrated experience preparing credit applications, investment recommendations, and ongoing amendment/refinancing reviews.
#4. Solid understanding of corporate finance transactions, loan markets, and research tools such as Bloomberg and EDGAR.
#5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce clear reports and meet Head Office and Branch monitoring requirements.
Requirements for the Senior Credit Analyst - Aviation Finance:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics or equivalent with 2+ years related experience.
- Good knowledge of finance and basic accounting.
- Good knowledge of commonly used research resources, including Bloomberg, EDGAR, and rating agencies.
- Basic knowledge of corporate finance transaction.
- Basic knowledge of loan markets.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Access) and some modeling capabilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Other Key Requirements:
- Hybrid work scheduled, at least 2 days in office per week.
