Summary:
- We are seeking an Informatica Solutions Developer to configure, customize, and implement Informatica IDMC Data Governance and Integration solutions (CD CDI, CAI)
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance and management, including data cataloging, business glossary, lineage, data quality rules, and role-based access control on cloud data platforms
- Must have hands-on experience with Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC), with a focus on Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC), Cloud Data Integration (CDI), and/or Cloud Application Integration (CAI) implementations
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, customize, and implement Informatica IDMC data governance and integration solutions (CD CDI, CAI) to support foundational data strategy and governance operating model
- Develop, automate, and optimize data integration workflows and APIs across core systems (Salesforce/CRM, GIS, billing, ERP, data lake) using Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI) to reduce manual effort and fragmentation
- Implement and operationalize data catalog, glossary, lineage, and data quality capabilities in Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC), including domain structures, connections, scans, profiling, and RBAC
- Define and enforce data standards, policies, and critical data element (CDE) certification rules in alignment with the emerging data governance charter, Data Council, and domain ownership model
- Configure and execute data quality profiling, rules, monitoring, and remediation workflows to improve trust in key domains such as Customer, network/fiber, billing, and services, leveraging IDQ/IDMC capabilities where appropriate
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve cloud data integration and governance platform issues, and support performance tuning, upgrades, and release management across IDMC services
- Document data governance configurations, integration patterns, technical designs, and stewardship workflows to ensure reproducibility, auditability, and support for a phased roadmap
- Collaborate with data owners, stewards, architects, and business stakeholders to align CD CDI, and CAI designs with the enterprise data strategy, governance operating model, and Azure data platform
Other Responsibilities:
- Configuring and administering Informatica CDto stand up domains, glossaries, catalogs, lineage, scans, and RBAC aligned to governance charter and Data Council priorities
- Building and maintaining CDI/CAI pipelines and APIs to integrate data from CRM, GIS, Billing, ERP, and the Azure data lake, enabling consistent, governed data flows
- Performing data profiling and configuring data quality rules, monitoring, and remediation workflows for prioritized domains (e.g., Customer, Network/Fiber Inventory) to reduce manual cleanup
- Supporting production data governance and integration environments, troubleshooting issues, tuning performance, and maintaining technical documentation and playbooks
- Working with data owners, stewards, and business teams to refine data standards, CDE definitions, and stewardship processes, as well as to onboard new systems and datasets into CDand IDMC integrations as the roadmap progresses
Required Qualifications:
- 8-10+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC), with a focus on Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC), Cloud Data Integration (CDI), and/or Cloud Application Integration (CAI) implementations
- Strong background in data governance and management, including data cataloging, business glossary, lineage, data quality rules, and role-based access control on cloud data platforms
- Proficiency with SQL, data modeling, and cloud integration tools and patterns (e.g., PowerCenter, CDI, CAI, REST APIs, event-based integrations) for connecting cloud and on-premises sources
- Familiarity with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or equivalent IDMC data quality services, including profiling, cleansing, observability, and integration with governance workflows
- Experience with supporting data governance programs (data domains, owners, stewards, councils), as well as embedding standards, policies, and controls into technical solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and experience working on Agile delivery teams in partnership with business and technology stakeholders
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Informatica Certifications (IDMC, CD Data Quality, Integration) are preferred
- Experience with Azure data platforms, data lakes, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is preferred
