Essential Duties and Responsibilities
SharePoint Administration:
Assist in managing SharePoint Online site collections, permissions, and security groups.
Support configuration of libraries, lists, metadata, and content types.
Development and Customization:
Participate in creating and modifying SharePoint pages using web parts, templates, and branding elements.
Assist in developing workflows and automation using Power Automate and Power Apps.
Maintenance and Support:
Monitor site health and performance; escalate issues as needed.
Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 support for SharePoint-related incidents and service requests.
Migration and Integration:
Support migration of content from legacy systems to SharePoint Online.
Assist in integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, OneDrive).
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain technical documentation for configurations, processes, and standards.
Ensure adherence to organizational governance and security policies.
Minimum Yrs of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Graduate-level student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Prior internship or professional experience in IT support or SharePoint administration.
- Demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge to practical technical tasks.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, site hierarchy, and permissions model.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services and administration concepts.
- Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SharePoint customization.
- Exposure to Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) preferred.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively
