Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist

Work Schedule: Hybrid - weekly 2 days onsite, 3 days remote

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the OCM Manager to develop strategic change plans that include communications, engagement, training, and stakeholder activities
• Collaborate with the OCM Manager to identify meaningful success metrics and plans to address resistance and reinforce change
• Complete change management assessments
• Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
• Identify and partner with the appropriate stakeholders to manage anticipated resistance
• Support organizational definition of roles and responsibilities
• Measure success metrics, communicate and monitor change progress
• Evaluate and ensure user readiness
• Track and report issues
• Educate clients on change management practices using change methodologies
• Mentor team members
• Help to facilitate the development of OCM competencies within the organization

Qualifications:

• Typically, a Bachelor s Degree with 3-5 years in delivering a successful end-to-end change/training programs including coordination of training, communications, engagement, and stakeholder activities
• A minimum of 2 years experience in project management, business/process analysis or OCM coordination is desired.
• Change management certification or designation is preferred
• Strong understanding of how people go through change and the change process
• Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent active listening skills
• Ability to identify the needs of a variety of audiences
• Able to establish and maintain strong relationships, capable of effectively coordinating work activity as a team player
• Can influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Flexible, adaptable and resilient; comfortable working in ambiguous situations and determine an optimal path forward
• Strong organizational skills, effective with tactical execution
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills
• Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts

Additional Information

• The OCM Specialist will play a key role in ensuring a successful program/project transformation through meeting objectives on time and on budget and increasing employee adoption and usage.
• This person will provide day-to-day, strategic and tactical support for the people side of changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structure.
• While this role does not have direct supervisory responsibility, the OCM Specialist will have indirect oversight of the OCM team to ensure everyone is operating in an efficient manner to help drive organizational success.
