Role Overview

Lam Research is seeking an experienced Technical IT Architect to provide technical leadership in the design, development, and optimization of enterprise IT systems that support critical business processes and technology platforms. This role will play a key part in ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure while maintaining uninterrupted IT services across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong architecture experience across enterprise systems, infrastructure, applications, and data platforms, with the ability to guide teams and align IT solutions with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the design, development, and optimization of enterprise IT systems and platforms
• Analyze, select, implement, and enhance enterprise systems and application software
• Support network hardware/software installation, configuration, and optimization
• Oversee database management and system integration efforts
• Ensure infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency, scalability, and platform compatibility
• Lead efforts to protect company data, tools, and information systems, ensuring compliance with security standards
• Coordinate delivery of IT services to business user groups and ensure uninterrupted service availability
• Act as a subject matter expert, applying deep knowledge of system characteristics to real-world business use cases
• Provide guidance and oversight to technical resources to ensure effective execution and operational efficiency

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in enterprise IT architecture and systems design
• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise applications, infrastructure, and platforms
• Experience with networking technologies, databases, and system integrations
• Ability to define and enforce infrastructure and architecture standards
• Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems with high availability requirements
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise analytics or engineering environments
• Familiarity with data platforms, reporting systems, or large-scale enterprise environments
• Prior experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or high-tech industries (preferred but not required)

Education

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
