Your expertise will drive improvements in data strategy, exploratory analysis, and reporting, enabling the organization to optimize performance and achieve measurable business outcomes.
About the team: The Supply Shaping team focuses on engaging drivers on the Spark platform to enhance delivery performance, thereby improving Walmart's online shopping experience. This team manages a $200M annual driver incentives strategy and drives engagement through targeted communications such as heatmaps, popular hours, SMS, and in-app notifications. Their efforts support improved availability during peak periods, on-time deliveries, and strengthened driver trust. These initiatives contribute directly to increased gross merchandise value (GMV) by ensuring reliable service during high-demand events and holidays, aligning operational strategy with business growth objectives.
What you'll do: - Develop strategies for incentives program improvement through a combination of automation, machine learning and business driven enhancements
- Identify and source relevant data from multiple business domains to support analytical needs and decision-making.
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable projects aligned with organizational strategy.
- Develop and apply statistical models and exploratory data analysis techniques to uncover trends and insights.
- Create advanced data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders and influence decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate solutions and support business process improvements.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote adherence to data governance and quality standards.
What you'll bring: - Extensive experience in data analysis, statistical methods, and data visualization using tools such as Tableau and Excel (Python is good to have).
- Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of data quality management techniques.
- Strong understanding of business processes, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Ability to perform exploratory data analysis, data profiling, and ensure data quality standards are met.
- Experience in developing actionable insights by integrating data strategy with business context across multiple domains.
- Excellent project management skills and capability to mentor junior analysts.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
