This organization is a leading global law firm located in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts with multiple locations across the US, Europe & Asia.

Job Description

The Network Architect's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Supporting the design and architecture of the firm's data, wireless, video, and VOIP networks
  • Supporting cloud and IaaS based network connectivity
  • Make recommendations for emerging technologies
  • Actively review designs to ensure that all business requirements, technical requirements, and monitoring objectives are met
  • Collaborate across the network team and other IT stakeholder groups to propose security, scalability, availability, supportability, and cost improvements
  • Provide technical guidance across the organization, from strategic decision advice down to the project planning level

The Successful Applicant

The successful Network Architect candidate will have the following experience:
  • 7+ years networking experience
  • Proven experience and success with planning, installing and managing networks
  • Strong working knowledge of Cisco routers
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of DNS record management
  • Experience with Infoblox/BloxONE DNS and DHCP
  • Experience and strong knowledge of VoIP systems
  • Preferred certifications, not required: CCNA/CCNP, CCDA, CCSP
  • Law firm experience is a huge plus but not required
  • Great communication
