About Our ClientThis organization is a leading global law firm located in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts with multiple locations across the US, Europe & Asia.
Job DescriptionThe Network Architect's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting the design and architecture of the firm's data, wireless, video, and VOIP networks
- Supporting cloud and IaaS based network connectivity
- Make recommendations for emerging technologies
- Actively review designs to ensure that all business requirements, technical requirements, and monitoring objectives are met
- Collaborate across the network team and other IT stakeholder groups to propose security, scalability, availability, supportability, and cost improvements
- Provide technical guidance across the organization, from strategic decision advice down to the project planning level

The Successful ApplicantThe successful Network Architect candidate will have the following experience:
- 7+ years networking experience
- Proven experience and success with planning, installing and managing networks
- Strong working knowledge of Cisco routers
- Strong hands-on knowledge of DNS record management
- Experience with Infoblox/BloxONE DNS and DHCP
- Experience and strong knowledge of VoIP systems
- Preferred certifications, not required: CCNA/CCNP, CCDA, CCSP
- Law firm experience is a huge plus but not required
- Great communication
