Senior React Native Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Developer to join our team and support our client in transitioning from a native mobile application to React Native Elements through a brownfield migration.

This position is perfect for developers passionate about hands-on development, UI optimization, and delivering cross-platform solutions in collaboration with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Migrate BDUI components from native mobile and web rendering engines to React Native
• Add analytics functionality to BDUI components
• Create cross-platform (iOS, Android, Web) components based on the Design System
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Ensure UI components meet accessibility standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in React Native development, including exposure to migrating from native apps
• Knowledge of iOS/Android native development (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java) and how React Native integrates with native code
• Proficiency in developing cross-platform UI components based on design systems
• Expertise in test automation including unit and integration tests
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Understanding of accessibility requirements in UI development
• Capable of contributing to architectural decisions with senior and principal engineers

Nice to have

• Background in Backend Driven UI (BDUI)
• Familiarity with Micro-Frontend Architecture
• Understanding of React Strict Dom
• Skills in analytics implementation within React Native environments
• Flexibility to adapt to novel architectural approaches and integrations
