Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled AI & Automation Technical Lead / Architect to drive the identification, evaluation, and delivery of AI-driven automation initiatives across business teams within Cisco. This role will focus on collecting automation ideas, assessing technical feasibility, designing end-to-end AI automation solutions, and executing approved initiatives while supporting the gradual scaling of the automation team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect AI and automation ideas across the organization
- Evaluate and analyze the technical feasibility, effort, and automation potential of proposed ideas
- Produce structured feasibility, impact, and recommendation reports for leadership review
- Design, plan, and implement end-to-end AI and automation solutions post-approval
- Lead hands-on development of AI-driven workflows, integrations, and automations
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business, technical, and budget expectations
- Support incremental scaling of the automation team based on pipeline demand and delivery needs
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Commerce processes and workflows
- Deep understanding of the Cisco AI ecosystem, including Circuit
- Proven experience with modern AI tools, platforms, and automation technologies
- Ability to lead technical feasibility assessments and solution architecture discussions
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI-based automation solutions
- Strong communication skills to work with business, product, and engineering teams
- Experience in technical leadership or architect-level roles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in large enterprise or Cisco environments
- Background in scaling automation or AI delivery teams
- Experience translating business problems into technical AI solutions.
