Job Title: IT Business Analyst
Location: Washington, D.C. (Preferred) / (travel to DC and other USPS locations as required)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on project management (PM), change management, and the creation and execution of IT test scripts. You will play a critical role in supporting project management initiatives by analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Business Process Analysis:** Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and document current business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- **Requirements Gathering:** Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather and document business requirements effectively.
- **Test Script Development:** Create, review, and execute IT test scripts to ensure that system functionalities align with business requirements.
- **Testing Activities:** Facilitate testing sessions, including Verification (V&V) testing, ensuring quality deliverables.
- **Project Support:** Support project management initiatives by coordinating with project teams, tracking progress, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- **Change Management:** Assist in managing changes to process and system implementations, including documentation and stakeholder communication.
- **Stakeholder Communication:** Act as a liaison between business units and IT project teams, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- **Meeting Facilitation:** Organize and facilitate meetings with project stakeholders to discuss requirements, project status, and testing outcomes.
- **Documentation:** Maintain comprehensive documentation of business and technical requirements, test cases, and results to support audit and compliance needs.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- C2 with a Minimum of one year of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience in change management and IT testing activities (creation of test scripts, conducting V&V testing).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in documentation and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, project management software).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
