Senior Software Engineer (AI / ML)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior software engineer with experience in JAVA OR PYTHON and also who are experience AI / ML with strong expertise to design, build, and deploy advanced machine learning solutions. This role requires hands-on technical leadership and close collaboration with cross-functional teams, with mandatory onsite presence 3 days per week at our Woodland Hills, CA location.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable AI/ML models for healthcare use cases.
• Lead end-to-end machine learning lifecycle including data preparation, feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, clinical, data, and engineering teams to translate healthcare requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize model performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments.
• Guide best practices for ML architecture, tooling, and MLOps.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Communicate complex AI/ML concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in JAVA or Python and experience working with large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Experience deploying ML models into production environments.
• Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning algorithms, and model evaluation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Woodland Hills, CA.
• Must be local to Los Angeles or within commutable distance (no relocation).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring.
• Exposure to NLP, computer vision, or generative AI in healthcare.
• Bachelor's or Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience working in regulated enterprise environment
