Hiring Cable Technicians (Level 1 & Level 2) - $20-$25/hr | Austin, TX6-Month Contract ? Opportunity to Convert to Permanent!Join a growing team supporting major commercial projects across the Austin area! We're hiring motivated Cable Technicians at both entry and mid-level who want hands-on experience with structured cabling, network infrastructure, and large-scale build-outs.
Roles AvailableLevel 1 Technicians- 0-1 years of experience
- $20-$21/hr depending on experience
- Great for entry-level candidates wanting to break into structured cabling
Level 2 Technicians- 1+ years of cabling experience
- $22-$25/hr depending on experience
- Ideal for techs who can work more independently and handle advanced tasks
What You'll Be Doing- Pulling, terminating, and testing Cat5/6 and fiber
- Installing cabling infrastructure: racks, cabinets, pathways, server room hardware
- Reviewing job documentation (floor plans, elevations, cable schedules)
- Supporting large commercial construction sites
- Using power tools and working in various physical positions (standing, climbing, kneeling, etc.)
- Lifting up to 50 lbs and working indoors/outdoors as needed
Required Tools & GearPPE Required:- Hard hat with chin strap
- Safety glasses
- Steel-toe boots
- Safety vest
Level 2 Techs Must Also Have:Tool pouch, punchdown tool, snips, screwdriver set, level, measuring tape, pliers, and similar low-voltage hand tools.
Requirements- Reliable transportation
- Must pass a driving background check
- Positive attitude & strong communication skills
- Ability to work safely on active construction sites

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
