Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Strong working knowledge of Linux, Tomcat and other middleware, strong troubleshooting acumen.

Desired Skills & Experience

Knowledge of ServiceNow, Splunk, Grafana, Excel, Power BI, Python
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

What You Will Be Doing

Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Operations Engineering.
Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Systems Operations Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Provide technical systems support within a technology - Duties are varied and may include one or more of the following: provides support for complex technical issues and initiatives related to assigned applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services; uses diagnostic and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems.
Participate in migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and/or configurations; update/write documentation and procedures and assists with related training.
Troubleshoot network, hardware and software issues using general guidelines, templates or direction from others.
Participate in writing test scripts; maintain change or issue logs; analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements.
Understand quality, security and compliance requirements for supported areas and reviews changes for risk to production systems.
Participate in testing and updating the business continuation plan.
