The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.
Responsibilites-
- Design, develop, and deploy new applications and features that will directly impact the ability to provide better and more affordable healthcare by building state-of-the-art technology that is scalable and robust via cloud infrastructure and full automation.
- Develop full-stack software applications that are scalable, robust, and thoughtfully designed.
- Work with all layers of the stack from the database to the front-end.
- Build robust, responsive, and easy to use APIs.
- Design new schemas and extend existing schemas in backward-compatible ways. Support the full software development lifecycle from design to implementation. Ship production code to a large customer base and test and deploy software products.
- Collaborate with other software engineers, domain experts, and end-users to build the right solution to address business needs and make engineering trade-offs. Hybrid work schedule.
Qualifications-
Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computers or Engineering and 1 year of IT experience (or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computers or Engineering and 3 years of IT experience). Must have experience with: HTML; CSS; Bootstrap; JavaScript; jQuery; shell scripts (bash); test automation; CI/CD pipeline optimization; process automation; Jinja Templating; Python; Django; InfluxDB; PostgreSQL; AWS EC2; AWS Elastic Beanstalk and S3; and Redis.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
