Looking for an experienced Mortgage banking SME with these skills such as RFP responses, pre sales, AI, mortgage and banking expirience and in depth
presales from services background ,expirience in Origination and servicing across in mortgage space.
Must be able to lead a workshop, excellent communication.
Look for candidates who started as a Business process analyst in mortgage and banking space and later grown into a Business architect/ Business process reengineering.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
8+ years in mortgage technology, consulting, AI services, or a related financial services advisory role.
Demonstrated pre-sales experience—leading workshops, crafting proposals, defining solutions, and supporting deal cycles.
Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML concepts (predictive modeling, document intelligence, generative AI, agentic automation) and their application in the mortgage industry.
Experience working with LOS (Encompass, ICE, Blend, MeridianLink), servicing platforms, pricing/eligibility engines, and workflow tools.
Domain Knowledge:
Deep understanding of mortgage operations: borrower experience, underwriting, credit/risk processes, QC, servicing, escrow, default, and regulatory considerations.
Knowledge of GSE guidelines, MISMO data standards, and UMDP modernization initiatives.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
Ability to translate business pain points into AI-feasible solutions and architectural options.
Understanding of data flows, API ecosystems, document processing, and decisioning workflows.
Experience collaborating with DataOps/MLOps teams and engineering groups.
Soft Skills & Leadership:
Strong communication, storytelling, and executive-facing presentation skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams during pre-sales and solutioning cycles.
Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and shaping structured frameworks from open-ended problems.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred but not required.
Industry certifications in AI/ML, cloud platforms, or mortgage systems are a plus.
