Business Systems Analyst

Role Overview

The Business Systems Analyst will join a fully stacked Agile team (or small team coordination as needed) and play a key role in translating business needs into actionable technical deliverables.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the gathering and translation of business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Interface with high-level stakeholders and business partners
• Collaborate closely with development and testing teams to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Capture detailed meeting notes, track action items, and manage Agile boards
• Create and maintain delivery schedules and project documentation
• Support data migration efforts
• Drive backlog refinement and prioritization activities
• Assist in shaping roadmaps and delivery milestones
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within Agile practices
• Coordinate release management activities, including scheduling and documentation
• Utilize ServiceNow for ticket tracking, release management, and issue resolution

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Agile software delivery methodologies
• Atlassian tools: Jira & Confluence
• ServiceNow
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Postman & SoapUI
• Dynatrace (dashboard monitoring)
• Strong team collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have / Flex Skills

• Experience working between Product Owners/Product Managers and Development teams
• Experience working with Architecture and Design teams
• Experience maintaining and organizing Agile backlogs
• Experience with roadmap development and milestone tracking
• Experience in release planning and delivery forecasting

Education

• Bachelor s degree required
• Management Information Systems
• Business Technology
• Or related field

Industry Background

• Prior experience in banking (technology side) preferred
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
