SAP BI Report Developer / Analyst

We are seeking a skilled SAP BI Report Developer / Analyst to design, develop, and support business intelligence reporting solutions using SAP BI/BW technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, functional teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver accurate, performance-optimized reports, dashboards, and analytics that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BI/BW reports, queries, and dashboards to support business requirements.

• Analyze business reporting needs and translate them into functional and technical BI specifications.

• Develop and optimize BEx Queries, BW Objects, and Extractors.

• Support data modeling, including InfoObjects, InfoCubes, DSOs, and ADSOs.

• Collaborate with SAP functional teams (MM, SD, FI, CO, PP, HR) to understand data sources and reporting needs.

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data load, performance, and reporting issues.

• Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

• Participate in cutover, go-live, and post-production support activities.

• Work with business users to provide training, documentation, and reporting guidance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BI/BW reporting and analytics.

• Expertise in:

  • BEx Query Designer

  • BW Data Modeling (InfoObjects, InfoProviders, ADSOs)

  • Process Chains and Data Loads

• Experience with SAP BW on HANA or BW/4HANA.

• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.

• Experience creating functional and technical documentation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• Exposure to ABAP for BI (user exits, routines, enhancements).

• Experience integrating data from SAP ECC/S/4HANA and non-SAP sources.

• Knowledge of SAP BO tools (WebI, Crystal Reports).

• Understanding of business processes in Finance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing
