Job Description

Client is seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager to lead implementation and upgrade initiatives for enterprise collaboration tools such as Zoom, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), Smartsheet, Box, and more. This role requires hands-on project leadership not just tool usage experience.

You will manage 2 3 medium projects or one large complex initiative (up to ~$3M $4M, lasting 6 12 months). Candidates must be local and able to work onsite 3 days/week.

Key Responsibilities

Lead IT projects focused on collaboration technologies; ensure full lifecycle delivery.
Manage projects from $100K to $5M in scope.
Define/document requirements; outline roles and responsibilities.
Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and documentation.
Drive technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to meet scope, timeline, and budget.
Identify/mitigate risks and issues; conduct kickoffs and phase-gate reviews.
Communicate status updates clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
Ensure project closure tasks and documentation are completed.
Proactively address exceptions while adhering to PMO frameworks and playbooks.

Required Qualifications

7+ years managing IT projects or software development lifecycles.
Hands-on experience implementing or upgrading collaboration tools (Zoom, M365, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Box, etc.).
Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
Advanced understanding of PM methodologies and PMO processes.
Ability to manage complex schedules, resource plans, and cross-functional workstreams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience with facilities or physical security project environments.
Experience with Office 365, Slack, Lucid, Box, or similar tools.
Proficiency with PM tools: Smartsheet, Anaplan, etc.
PMP certification (preferred).
Strong understanding of IT roles, deliverables, and system integrations.
