DescriptionJunior Project ManagerOur client is looking for a
Junior Project Manager to support the
network and asset needs related to the merger and the rollout of EPIC. This individual will assist in supporting desktop and device engineering initiatives, ensuring
configuration standards are met, while also helping to manage assigned projects tied to the EPIC implementation.
The Junior Project Manager will work closely with
desktop teams, network engineering teams, and external vendors to help deliver
best-in-class desktop and device application solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Support the network and asset initiatives related to EPIC rollout.
- Ensure desktop, device engineering, and configuration standards are followed.
- Assist in managing projects related to EPIC and enterprise integration initiatives.
- Support system-wide oversight of the User Device Lifecycle, including:
- Budgeting
- Procurement
- Asset Management
- Device Relinquishment
- Ensure compliance with established standards, processes, and procedures, aligning with mission-critical goal of service excellence in patient care.
- Gather information on existing workflows across facilities and assist with creating and maintaining processes and procedures to support device lifecycle management.
- Assist with coordinating scheduled procurements across all facilities and work closely with EITS Finance to ensure awareness of upcoming procurements and estimated funding needs.
- Facilitate quote requests from facilities for both scheduled and ad-hoc procurement needs.
- Review submitted procurement requests to ensure:
- Requested items align with the stated technical and operational needs
- Requests meet established standards and schedules
- Assist in coordinating with facility procurement requestors, Desktop Engineering leadership, and Site Directors, ensuring timelines are met and status updates are communicated.
- Maintain vendor relationships and support standardized processes for vendors to provide updates to all stakeholders.
- Assist with asset management activities used to track user devices, including financial and non-financial assets.
- Support the end-to-end device lifecycle and procurement process at the facility level.
- Heavily support the merger and EPIC rollout, including ongoing operational support post-implementation.

Required to travel to the various facilities within the five boroughs to review storage locations, conduct internal asset audits and meet with the teams responsible for managing the device lifecycle at the facilities.
Maintains, follows and consistently demonstrates a general knowledge of EITS and New York City Health + Hospitals guidelines, processes, practices and procedures
Preparing and willing to do any other reasonable and lawful instruction/task on time and correctly
Managing time efficiently, effectively, set priorities appropriately, schedule calls, able to maintain professional demeanor under stress and operate within customer standard operating procedures without abuse.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
