Job Overview: The Senior Systems Analyst will work independently on complex projects, providing advanced technical expertise in all phases of application systems analysis activities. The role involves collaborating with multiple business units, working in multi-platform environments, and managing multi-project assignments. The candidate will ensure the continuation of a broad range of assignments and related fields, avoiding errors that could cause delays, expenses, and disruptions. This position requires a deep understanding of Oracle and SQL Server databases, implementation experience, and a strong focus on cybersecurity.
Responsibilities: - Implement vendor software solutions through full lifecycle processes, including requirement gathering, testing, integrations, and process improvement.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to enhance business processes.
- Ensure cybersecurity measures are integrated into all systems and processes.
- Read and interpret architecture diagrams, program coding, and scripts.
- Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems, considering computer capacity, operating time, and desired results.
- Formulate or define system scope and objectives based on user needs.
- Monitor project progress and results, providing input on objectives and policy.
- Identify and implement improved work alternatives and business processes.
- Guide and advise less experienced Systems Analysts.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Qualifications: - 5+ years of directly related experience as a Systems Analyst.
- Experience and understanding of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Prior implementation experience with vendor software solutions (full lifecycle).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Ability to read and understand architecture diagrams, program coding, and scripts.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lead, collaborate, and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
- Preference for candidates with prior experience in a utility or regulated industry.
Nice to Have Skills: - .Net or Java programming experience.
- Experience developing and enhancing interfaces.
- Project implementation of vendor software.

Pay Range: $53 - $55/hr. W2
