Software Engineer

Description:
Building, maintaining, and supporting a suite of scripts, programs, and apps to bring automation and efficiency to the Ad Operations team and other teams within Growth Marketing.
Partner with the team's full-time engineer to implement and iterate on new automation, including gathering requirements, soliciting feedback, and delivering incremental improvements.
Contribute to the implementation and realization of the team's vision for a given piece of automation by scoping work with the full-time engineer, executing assigned deliverables, and documenting outcomes for handoff and ongoing support.
Work with outside development team to support onboarding and ongoing maintenance of proprietary EVE automation tool, in coordination with the full-time engineer and Ad Ops leadership.
Work with Ad Operations Managers and Director to realize our vision of automating campaign setup, report monitoring, and other point solutions across all of our media platforms.
Keep up to date with industry trends in advertising technology and relevant programming languages.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment, supporting new products/businesses supported by a proven large-scale media property.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience across ad operations or ad technology.
Experience in scripting/programming with a focus on automation or ad operations or similar.
Proficient in Python.
Experienced in Janus, Jenkins, Artifactory, or similar and deploying code.
Experience implementing and iterating on processes to create efficiency.
Experience with DoubleClick API and similar media platform APIs preferred.
Experience with Air Table or similar tool for workflow management and documentation preferred.
Required Education: Bachelor's Science or Engineering, or related technical background
