Job Descriptionship requiredMust Possess: Active SECRET ClearanceWe are seeking an accomplished Senior Oracle Cloud Solution Architect to play a critical role in a high-profile, large-scale cloud migration project. In this position, you will provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of complex enterprise solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring all aspects of the migration align with business objectives, industry best practices, and security standards.
You will collaborate with multiple teams to architect and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Oracle Exadata is highly desired. A deep understanding of modern cloud development methodologies and a proven track record of delivering successful cloud transformation projects are essential.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the architectural design and end-to-end solution strategy for migrating on-premises systems and applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Engage with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate business needs into robust, cloud-native solution architectures.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, reference models, and best practices, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Architect solutions encompassing Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Oracle Exadata while integrating with other OCI services as needed.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud security, compliance, high availability, and disaster recovery best practices.
- Oversee the technical realization of the migration, ensuring quality, performance, cost optimization, and adherence to project schedules.
- Mentor technical teams, conduct architecture/design reviews, and facilitate knowledge transfer on cloud-native principles and tools.
- Stay current with advancements in cloud technologies, recommending improvements to keep solutions at the forefront of innovation.
ResponsibilitiesRequired Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in solution architecture roles.
- Demonstrated expertise designing and delivering enterprise solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of modern cloud development methodologies (DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, Infrastructure as Code, Agile, etc.).
- Experience architecting solutions with one or more of the following: Oracle Autonomous Database, PeopleSoft, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Exadata.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security, networking, identity management, and governance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Relevant Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional) strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience with large-scale cloud migration or digital transformation projects.
- Experience with DoD/Army enterprise applications
- Knowledge of legacy-to-cloud migration patterns, data migration strategies, and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Experience with automation, scripting, and integrating monitoring/management tools.
- Familiarity with enterprise compliance standards and regulatory requirements in cloud environments.
- Experience with additional Oracle SaaS/PaaS/IaaS offerings is a plus.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
