Workday Integration Specialist/Senior Workday Technical Consultant- Remote

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workday Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and various enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday Integration technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with HR, IT, and business teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Workday Web Services (WWS), Core Connectors, and other integration tools.

• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and define integration solutions.

• Maintain and optimize existing Workday integrations for performance, accuracy, and scalability.

• Troubleshoot integration issues and provide timely resolutions.

• Implement best practices for Workday integration design, deployment, and monitoring.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, including architecture diagrams, mapping specifications, and process flows.

• Stay up to date with Workday releases and new integration capabilities; recommend and implement enhancements as needed.

• Mentor and guide junior integration engineers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday integrations.

• Strong experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and XSLT/XML transformations.

• Knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll, Finance, or Recruiting modules is a plus.

• Solid understanding of data integration concepts, including ETL, APIs, and middleware.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based middleware tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, etc.)

• Familiarity with Workday security and data privacy principles

• Workday certification(s) in integration or HCM modules
