Job Description: Go Anywhere / Workday Developer (with Fortra Experience

Location: Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking a versatile Workday Developer with strong expertise in Fortra (GoAnywhere MFT) to design, build, and maintain secure integrations across HR, Finance, and enterprise systems. This role requires a hands-on developer who thrives in dynamic environments, ensuring seamless data flows, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Development

Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Core Connectors, EIBs, Studio, and Workday APIs.

Build and manage secure file transfers and automation workflows using Fortra GoAnywhere MFT.

Ensure integrations meet compliance, security, and performance standards.

System Enhancements

Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Optimize existing integrations for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Support Workday HCM modules (Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Time Tracking, etc.) with custom solutions.

Operational Excellence

Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Document technical designs, workflows, and SOPs for ongoing support.

Partner with cross-functional teams to align integration strategies with business goals.

Required Skills & Experience

Workday Development

Strong proficiency in Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and Workday Web Services.

Experience with Workday HCM modules and business process configuration.

Fortra / GoAnywhere

Hands-on experience with GoAnywhere MFT for secure file transfers, automation, and scheduling.

Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Shell) for workflow automation.

Technical Expertise

Proficiency in XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP APIs, and data transformation.

Familiarity with SQL and relational databases for reporting and integration support.

Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and encryption standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Finance/HR system integrations (SAP, Oracle, or other ERP platforms).

Background in compliance-heavy environments (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
