Positions Summary:
The first line of support for access within the TP district.
Perform the daily tasks associated with User accounts, to include granting or revoking application or service access.
Responsible for responding to inquiries and providing information to our customers who call for information regarding employee onboarding, access requests, and termination processes.
Evaluate situations and determine appropriate routing, response, and escalation of inquiries or problems.
Make sure the customer receives a timely response. Follows documented procedures and checklists and offers suggestions on process improvements.
Supports the IT Operations Project Admin and the IT Operations Analyst as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Management of the Automated Access Request Form (AARF) System
Entry of Systems to be managed through AARF
Working with Security Coordinators to create AARF access items
Quality Assurance of data entered into AARF
Creation of AD groups to support AARF access items
Provisioning of users into AD groups
Monitors service desk queue and resolves support tickets as assigned
Monitors, reviews, and analyzes security access records for compliance with security practices, policies, and procedures
Maintains proper security-related file records and documentation to preserve information such as computer security access records, outside agency agreements, and contracts, following established security processes and Office of Information Systems Methods and Practices
A minimum of 4 years of IT work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, applications development, database design, and administration; one to two years of experience with information security.
Requires knowledge of security issues, techniques, and implications across all existing computer platforms
Assist with the tracking of inventory for the Information Technology Cost Center
Participate in team projects and assignments that range in size, complexity, and contract duration
Attends and participates in OIT Staff Meetings, Operations Team Meetings, and other meetings as directed
Responsible for reading, adhering to, and enforcing the department's Procedures
Able to lift to 25 pounds
Travel may be required.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other
related field. Or equivalent work experience
Experience:
A minimum of 4 years of IT work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, applications development, database design, and administration; one to two years of experience with information security.
Requires knowledge of security issues, techniques, and implications across all existing computer platforms.
Previous Experience with AARF preferred.
