Position: Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite) NEED LOCALS ONLY
Duration: 13+ months with possible extension

Mandatory: Automation, AWS, J2EE, Java, Linux, NoSQL
TA NOTES:
Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience (cluster creation/management, kubectl)
Linux expertise: security patching, log analysis, admin tasks
Hands-on AWS: MSK, NoSQL DBs, EKS, IAM
AWS Networking: VPCs, private links, Route 53, network access
Basic knowledge of Java and managing Java apps in prod/non-prod.
Able to coordinate installation of Java-based web applications across environments
Role:
Coordinate and guide the installation of Java-based web applications on various environments.
Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes. This includes creating and managing clusters, etc., and being proficient with kubectl
Must have experience with Linux regarding security patching, log searching, and general administrative tasks
Must have hands-on experience with AWS services, including: MSK clusters, NoSQL databases, AWS EKS, IAM users, and groups
Must have hands-on experience with AWS networking, including: VPC management, private links, Route 53, and network access
Basic understanding of the Java programming language and managing Java applications in both production and non-production environments. Coordinate and guide the installation of Java-based web applications on various environments.
Responsibilities:
Drive the Continuous Integration and Delivery strategy for delivering and maintaining web applications.
Implement and enhance the Automation framework for the delivery of web applications using Java, J2EE, Jenkins, Maven, and Unix.
Provide infrastructure support to Developers and QA, including Linux and Cloud administration.
Work with Application Developers on a day-to-day basis to collect requirements for the next release.
Preparing release notes for each release.
