Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support digital transformation efforts for our Navy customer in Crane, INThis role involves application setup, troubleshooting, security management, access control, and system integration, across both cloud-native and on-premise environments.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Develop and maintain systems documentation.
Conduct security audits and remediate findings.
Configure and monitor backups per policies and regulations.
Provide tiered support for applications and services.
Administer and integrate applications/services (e.g., APIs, file transfers).
Assist with pre-installation planning, scoping, and networking.
Develop user training and maintain compliance documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT Management, or Cyber Security (or 4 years of equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years with DoD networks and advanced IT concepts.
Clearance: Active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret; U.S. Citizenship required.
Certifications: DoD IAT Level II (e.g., Security+).
Preferred Skills
Experience with Nutanix Hybrid Cloud, Windows Servers, Active Directory, SQL Server, Hyper-V, VMware, and network hardware/media.
Familiarity with network monitoring and log aggregation tools.
