Job Title: CMS Product Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC | Hybrid 3x/week
Contract Length: 18+ months
Rate: $55-65/hr (depending on years of experience)
Top Requirements:7+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong background in managing complex products and technical initiatives.Must have CMS experience preferably with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and an understanding of content management systems.Demonstrated technical acumen and experience working within technically complex organizations.Proven ability to manage and prioritize product backlogs, translate requirements into user stories, and oversee testing and release processes.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, partnering with teams to deliver high-quality features.Plusses:Prior experience in marketing or content management platforms.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills in large-scale organizations.Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and technical teams.Familiarity with test planning, defect tracking, and quality assurance practices.Experience in consulting or influencing cross-functional teams on innovative product solutions.Job Summary:The CMS Product Manager will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of content management solutions within the Marketing Services Platform. This role involves managing a complex backlog, translating business needs into detailed requirements, and ensuring quality through testing and deployment. The ideal candidate will have extensive product management experience, technical acumen, and a background in working within technically complex environments, particularly with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The Product Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, content teams, and senior leadership to deliver scalable, innovative content solutions that support marketing initiatives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Translate requirements into clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Define test cases, review results, and provide sign-off for feature readiness.
- Promote a testing mindset across the team, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Partner with the ScrumMaster to remove impediments and keep sprints on track.
- Lead team meetings as needed to clarify requirements, review progress, and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with engineering and content teams to clarify requirements and support implementation.
- Monitor progress against sprint goals and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Support release planning and ensure readiness for deployment.
- Oversee testing coordination, including test plans and defect tracking, to maintain high-quality deliverables.
