Mortgage - Data Analyst II

Overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst II to support the Mortgage division at client. In this role, you will provide data insights that help improve revenue, marketing performance, and day-to-day operations. You will work closely with the Enterprise Analytics team and have access to advanced tools and data resources.

What You Will Do

• Work with Mortgage leaders to identify important analytics needs that support growth, retention, and cross-selling.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
• Build and manage large datasets from systems like Salesforce, TotalExpert, Google Ads, Core Banking, and Loan Origination Systems.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales Analytics to measure campaign results, improve lead conversion, and strengthen targeting.
• Develop predictive insights to improve pipeline management, loan officer productivity, and customer retention.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis on mortgage portfolios, refinancing opportunities, and process improvements.
• Support data quality and data governance work.
• Present insights to senior leadership in a clear, simple, and actionable way.
• Complete assigned duties, compliance exams, and follow all company policies.

What You Need
Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or similar roles (banking/mortgage experience preferred).

Technical Skills

• Strong Power BI skills (advanced DAX and Power Query).
• Strong Tableau skills (Desktop, Cloud, Prep).
• Advanced SQL skills, especially in Snowflake.
• Strong Python experience.
• Experience working with Salesforce, marketing analytics tools, and data integration systems (e.g., Alteryx, Azure, Snowflake).
• Understanding of statistical methods (regression, segmentation, A/B testing).
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps capacity planning.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and data storytelling abilities.
• Strong business understanding, especially around revenue and operations.
• Ability to work well with teams across the organization.
• Comfortable presenting insights to executives.
