POS Encryption Consultant || Remote (some travel to East Coast may be required)

Job Description:

Looking for an experienced POS Encryption Consultant to support the design, implementation, and management of encryption solutions for Point-of-Sale (POS) environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience securing payment data and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement encryption solutions for POS systems
• Manage end-to-end encryption (E2EE) and key management processes
• Support POS device encryption, key injection, and key rotation
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and payment security standards
• Troubleshoot encryption-related issues in POS environments
• Work with internal teams, vendors, and payment processors

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with POS systems and payment security
• Hands-on experience in POS encryption (E2EE / P2PE)
• Knowledge of cryptographic concepts (AES, RSA, 3DES, key management)
• Experience with HSMs, key injection facilities, or key management systems
• Good understanding of PCI-DSS requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with payment networks and card processing flows
• Certifications related to security or payment systems (PCI, CISSP, etc.)
