Azure Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

This position requires a qualified Azure Engineer with at least 7 years’ experience in the following areas.

·       Implementation of a landing zone architecture through TerraForm to manage and administer the

·       Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring,

·       policy governance and security

·       Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement

·       improvements

·       Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging TerraForm to ensure automated and consistent

·       platform deployments

·       Deploying IaC utilizing Azure DevOps pipelines

·       Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions

·       Automate processes and infrastructure lifecycle management.

Required Skills:

·       Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration, and optimization

·       Experience deploying IaC with Azure DevOps

·       Experience in IaC development with Terraform

·       Proficient with GIT to perform source code management

·       Enthusiastic learner with the ability to teach and mentor teammates and cross functional partners

·       Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail

Preferred:

·       Strong foundational knowledge of the Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure

·       Demonstrate an understanding of security concepts including governance and access control.

·       Basic understanding of azure active directory and integration with on-premises systems

·       Network CIDR block and IP address planning as well as vnet gateway for transit routing

·       Monitoring and logging azure platform using cloud native services
