The candidate should have 12–16 years of overall IT experience, with the last six years involving extensive hands-on experience with Azure Data Services.

Job Description:
- 12+ years overall experience in data engineering / data platform roles.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience architecting and implementing on Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (performance tuning, complex transformations, analytics-ready modeling).
- Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory (or Fabric pipelines), including orchestration patterns and parameterized pipelines.
- Strong hands-on development in PySpark for scalable transformation workflows.
- Experience implementing CI/CD for data workloads (Azure DevOps/GitHub, automated deployments, environment management).
- Strong understanding of data engineering fundamentals (ingestion, transformations, modeling, orchestration, testing).
- Strong knowledge of modern data architectures such as Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold), Data Vault, and related patterns.
Good-to-Have Skills - Experience with Snowflake (architecture, migration, performance).
- Experience with Microsoft Purview for cataloging, lineage, and governance.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and lineage within the Microsoft ecosystem (access controls, auditing, compliance).
- Exposure to Power BI and Semantic Models (DAX/modeling is a plus).
