Teaching Assistant

The Teaching Assistant supports classroom instruction  supervising students in the teacher’s absence. Responsibilities include attendance, behavior monitoring, assignment support, and daily documentation. The role reports to the School Principal and requires effective classroom management with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor students; support completion of assigned lessons
• Maintain attendance, behavior, and academic records
• Follow safety, security, and confidentiality policies
• Collaborate with staff and participate in meetings and training
• Prepare clear, accurate written reports and documentation

Qualifications

• Ability to implement lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to complete required training, certifications, and drug screening
