Description

SAIC is currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous Office 365 System Administrator to join our team in Washington D.C. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management and maintenance of our Office 365 applications, with a focus on setting up and maintaining user accounts, ensuring system enhancements, and supporting Microsoft Exchange in a highly secure, classified environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provision new user accounts and profiles and manage Office 365 licenses.
Manage and support user accounts and groups, including password resets, user access issues, and mailbox management.
Regularly review and implement system updates, patches, and enhancements to ensure the optimal performance of the Office 365 environment.
Oversee and maintain the integrity and security of data stored in OneDrive, including sharing permissions and access controls.
Provide end-to-end support for Microsoft Exchange, ensuring smooth and secure email communications within the classified environment.
Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with end-users, understanding their needs, and ensuring positive user experience.
Administer collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of systems, networks, and information within the Office 365 suite.
Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures relevant to Office 365 management.
Provide training and support to end-users on Office 365 capabilities and best practices.
Serve as the primary contact for Office 365-related technical issues, providing timely and effective resolution.
Ensure all Office 365 activities comply with legal and company policies and procedures, maintaining operational security posture.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 4 years of hands on experience.

Must be able to obtain an OCC Public Trust clearance.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 services and integration in a secure, classified environment.
Experience in user account management and Microsoft Exchange mail services.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly.
Knowledge of IT security best practices and familiarity with compliance regulations relevant to a classified environment.
In-Depth knowledge and hands-on experience with major cloud platforms.
Comprehensive knowledge of cloud security best practices and ability to implement security measures within cloud networks.
Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP.
Strong understanding of Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and subnets to meet the organization's performance and security requirements.
Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and virtual networking concepts.
Experience with identity and access management (IAM) in cloud environments.
Experience with installation of various network devices and services (e.g., routers, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations for any third-party network devices in cloud platforms.
Work with the existing network administrators and engineers to manage, deploy, and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, VPN concentrators, and Network Access Control in cloud platforms.
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.

Desired Qualifications:

Microsoft Office 365 certifications are highly desirable.
Experience working within classified government or military environments.
Familiarity with hybrid Exchange environments.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
